First off, hope everyone has a superb Holiday Season! Here's dreaming of a silver Christmas for all.

Know this question has been out there before. Yes I actually read every available post before I signed up.

For all you folks who sort for copper what % do you find as an average per box?

I'd really like to hear from a lot of people from the SE but would appreciate all input greatly.

Always love seeing the "Wheat Wars" posts.

I never do the calculations but from looking at the piles it looks like I usually get a consistent 40%or higher for copper.

26.6% + 2.5% '82 coppers + 0.4% wheat = 29.5% in Chicago.

As an aside on other stuff I track, almost 80% of my '82s are copper.

Dead on with So. Wis. ratio.

Hopper that's makes cents (Pun intended.) The Gov changed over in October of '82 best I recall. Most folks I feel miss out on quite a bit by not checking the 82's.

Per box

I get about 28 to 30 percent which includes my wheat's and about 40 cents of Canadian.

I live in Michigan

Thanks for all the numbers so far I really do appreciate it. Looks like about 25% average at this point.

Anyone from Alabama?

The reason I ask this is a joint venture with a partner of mine in the NE part of the state.

Keep those cards and letters coming folks.

My cheap little pocket scale paid for itself long ago by finding the '82 coppers for me. I don't want to leave nothin' fer nobody when it comes to copper. ;D

:laughing7: U&T that sounds like me. Between that and buying scrap gold and silver that little scale has many times over paid for itself.
