Know this question has been out there before. Yes I actually read every available post before I signed up.

For all you folks who sort for copper what % do you find as an average per box?

I'd really like to hear from a lot of people from the SE but would appreciate all input greatly.

I get 28% here in eastern ohio

I never do the calculations but from looking at the piles it looks like I usually get a consistent 40%or higher for copper.

Hopper that's makes cents (Pun intended.) The Gov changed over in October of '82 best I recall. Most folks I feel miss out on quite a bit by not checking the 82's.

I get about 28 to 30 percent which includes my wheat's and about 40 cents of Canadian.

I live in Michigan

My cheap little pocket scale paid for itself long ago by finding the '82 coppers for me. I don't want to leave nothin' fer nobody when it comes to copper.

southern maine we get about 30% to upwards of one box i had that was 70% copper
