This photo shows the Main street in the Little American City of Corduva in Alaska. Big things are ahead for Cordova because is at present the nearest seaport to the Great Behring River coal fields which the U.S. is talking seriously of opening up soon. Also some day, Americans in the Great Country around the golden Yukon river, to the North, will want the U..S. to build a railroad to the south coast of Alaska, giving them quick transportation to the states. it is said that Cordova is the logical Sea terminal for such a line.

Thanks for sharing that picture. That was before the new library was built. Ha Ha.. Which is where I'm currently viewing from.
