Core?

Was out looking for mushrooms (still a bit early) and saw this guy… I grabbed it thinking I could do some knapping practice. The more I look at it the more I wonder if it’s not a core or a chopper, I hate to destroy any artifacts when there plenty of other rocks to chose from… I would say definitely had removals except the patina isn’t far from the patina on the cortex. That’s unusual around here, most artifacts look clean as the day they were made. I’m curious what you guys think… I did knock off a little lip to show the difference in a fresh removal

Definitely a core. Use as a chopper would have been expedient more than intentionally prepared for.

I can definitely see it… clearly it’s irrefutable prof the Americas have been populated by hominids for over a million years, and that American Indians evolved separately… or Bigfoot developed a tool kit… definitely one of the two 🤔
