I found this gray quartz corner tang knife in the spring and it was cover with mud from the cornfield. I thought at the time it was a broken based spear point and was ready to throw er back. I have so many broken ones all ready , I usually keep only the whole ones. As I was getting ready to toss it my brother told me he would take it....I started to hand it to him and he said are you sure you dont want this corner tang knife. I pulled my hand back cleaned some more dirt from it and said ya I guess Ill keep er.

Just to be correct...This tang knife was originally a 5000 t0 6000 year old otter creek spear point. It appears to have 1/3 of the tip snapped off . It was reworked with a edge. This type point usually has large base ears and one ear at base was tanged and the other looks like it was removed. My friends father found a tang knife in a creek bed in AZ. along with other artifacts. It was about 7 inches long ,made out of quality material and 100% perfect. I shook when I held it...
