I took the back off and looked at the movement under a magnifying glass and found it to be finished quite crudely. Definitely a fake but a good one.

The pawn shops around here are loaded with cool looking mechanical watches with Chinese movements. Have you ever seen a real Chinese Tourbillion's new for a thousand bucks?

I have not seen any in person. I know some are of high quality but most are junk.
