I was going through my box of bits that I have found over the past few months :P and picked up this little broken piece that I first thought was part of a buckle :icon_scratch:
Giving it a little rub and looking through the magnifying glass I noticed there was the remains of half a face were it broke :o and to the left what looks like a depiction of a eye :dontknow: and further to the left what could be two stars :help: The back is just plain :icon_scratch:I have seen these symbols before on Celtic pieces :P and was wondering if this could infact be part of a unknown Celtic Artifact :dontknow:...whats your thoughts :P

100% sure your first thoughts were right on buckle piece. You can see the start of the curve....Its most likely a Georgian Shoe Buckle of which I have seen several with faces, not normally as moon like but none the less very similar :icon_thumright:

Yea you might be right, the back is smooth like a Buckle....but i'll not green check it just yet :P
