DESPICABLE--- AND UGLY.... bet that came from Wuhan mint----:angry4::cussing::angry5::censored: China

By far the worst fake I have seen in years.

Hows it react to a magnet? Could be a magicians coin???

“LIBFRTY” for all. Thanks Wuhan.

I suspect it is a magician coin. Place in thick jar and shake vigorously.

It is not the type of magician's coin that comes apart, it is one solid piece.

Terrible looking fake!

Kennedy is rolling over in his grave

Cool Find !

Congrats !

Please keep the politics out of the thread.

I can see that framed and posted at a coin store...it is about as ugly as a coin can be...

Wow.. never seen anything like that in 20 years of CRHing. Simply stunned.. how was the rim? Did the rim show copper or was the coin one solid metal color? They didn't try to make it look real. Lol. Wonder why they tried to make this creation. The artist was terrible at drawing Kennedy. Odd since most counterfeits are made using die cast jobs that lift off of regular coins.

On the subject of ugly Kennedy half dollars:

His hair is over groomed lol

The coin looks terrible. Why would someone do that? It is not a rare date like 1964.

Well, it's harder to counterfeit a 90% silver coin, since anyone knowledgeable enough to buy it will scrutinize it a good bit. It actually would make more sense to try to counterfeit a clad than a silver.

Also, a 2012 half dollar is technically more than 100x rarer than a 1964 half. Over 400 million 1964s were minted, versus less than 4 million 2012s. That said, I did find a 2012-p Kennedy in a box yesterday, but I did not find a 1964... Did find a walker, though!
