It really clouded up and cooled down some here this afternoon around 5:00 pm, so I took a ride out to a farmers pond. This Canada Goose got a little uppity acting when I got close to the fence to get as close as I could to photo the only Egret on the shore. It didn't come out so good as I couldn't get any closer and the lighting was kind of dull. I got one shot of this bumble bee on a sunflower, before he took off and this little barn swallow who took a little break on the barbwire fence. It just sat there watching all the other barn swallows flying around and it then took off to join in again with all the other swallows. This late afternoon ended with a nice breeze blowing through the trees that kind of gives a hint we're now on the backside of summer. Six more weeks I say and I should begin to see the fall leaves on the trees in the mountains start to change.

BEE-utiful!! You couldn't ask for better conditions for the bee shot!! Even the swallow looking over its shoulder - GREAT SHOTS!!

My fav for the day has to be the bee. :occasion14:

That swallow really co-operated with you. You are getting the hairs on the bee sharp and in focus. So far I haven't gotten that good.

I just hope we have leaves this fall. It has been so dry, I am afraid they may fall off early

It took two hands, Bosn's. One to hold the flower stem from blowing all around and the other to operate the camera. This little camera works really good on close up's such as this.

Great shots Tamrock, I never knew a bee could be so pretty!
