Couple buttons I found feet apart !!!

Hey hey fellow treasure hunters,
found these buttons in the same field. The one is a cast pewter war of 1812 general service button, and the other civil war eagle - D. Evans. Thought it was kinda cool to find them so close together, a few yards at most.. HH and thanks for lookin !!!! L8R

Those are some really sweet looking buttons. Did you clean them and/or preserve them in some way or is the ground very kind to those items in your area?

Hey hey, I have only brushed them with a soft toothbrush. The earth is very loose and airy where I was. I have found lots of nice relics in good condition here. Thanks for looking.
