One is this Roseville Pottery vase that has a mold mark of 671-6 and I believe it's a genuine period Roseville piece and not a modern knock-off. I gave a little over $9 for it. I also found this Asian bronze lidded pumpkin. I'm thinking it's Japanese, and still trying to determine the true age of it. Found this Etsy listing with a bold claim of of what they have being of the Qing Dynasty. That seems like bunk to me. I paid also a bit over $9. on it.

The Roseville pot is a nice looking piece. Good luck on the pumpkin. I’d say you got a whale of a deal if Etsy is right. Probably a reproduction. Still well worth $9

Very nice.

The Roseville piece looks good to me. The mark is raised, which is correct, and the numbers 671-6 relate to the pattern shape (not the design colouration) and size respectively. The jardinière was '671' and it should be a little over 6 inches. Your is the 'Zephyr Lily' design, introduced in 1946. You used to be able to pick these up for around $60, but they're going up in value due to collector demand. Worth hanging onto for a while.

The brass pumpkin you found on Etsy might well be Qing Dynasty, since it only ended in 1912 but the price being asked is ridiculous. They're common pieces as copies of earlier items and, even if the base mark can be determined, there's a high chance it doesn't reflect the actual age of the piece. Even a 19th Century piece probably wouldn't command more than $150 at 'antique dealer' prices and usually a lot less. Less still if 20th Century, and the patina on yours suggests that's the case. One of the problems with these pieces is that they're still being made. Here's one with a more similar pattern to yours than the Etsy listing:

Thanks RC & BF58. Sounds like I did good on the Roseville and it's rare to find a genuine Roseville in a thrift store these days to all the replicas out there. Also its in flawless condition that I find. As for the pumpkin I suspected it as a modern import item, but it is an interesting little piece I bought because it caught my eye, plus a nice addition to the collection of stuff I plan to unload on ebay someday after I retire and hopefully have the time to once again get doing that again.
