First I found a big compact, felt heavy, filled with old silver I thought..... bazinga.... a broken mirror, then I saw a 2nd compartment, thants where the coins are, I thought to my self.... bazinga again, powder puff was in the .. haha

I did manage a 1939 Merc. and a 1910 Barber dime, along with a toasted Indianhead and a toasted "V" nickel....

Nice hunt. I check those old compacts too. The story I heard was they always kept a dime in there for bus fare to get home. Congrats on your finds.

Congratualtions on the coins, jewelry and relics!

Very Nice keep it up!!!

Two silver dimes is a fine day, and some nice trinkets to go along. Congrats! :occasion14:

I feel your pain...Every time I have found an old compact, pill box, or like container, I've had visions of it being filled with old silver coins.... So far I'm like 0-8 in that department.
Glad to were able to sniff out a couple of nice silvers anyhow.
