Went out to the old Plantation today. The field where the old foundation is located is overgrown with soybeans right now, so I hung out down by the creek.A good stretch of the creek is dry because we haven't had much rain lately,so I hopped down in it for awhile and dug the hoe- head.I followed the creek until I came to water then hunted the banks and hill sides. All together I got a Sharps-Ringtail,A Richmond sharps, and what looks to be a Burnside.also Found two C.S. made lead cartridge or cap box finial's and four flat buttons that still have their shanks, which is always good to see.On the way home hunting out of the wood's I found the hatchet head which gave me one last little surprise.Over all I had a pretty enjoyable hunt. Thanks for looking and HH !joe
