You have to look at the stylid. The degree of separation determines Bison from Cow. If really weathered the bison's isolated stylid can come off making ID more difficult. The pic here shows a Bison isolated stylid with cementum around it. (Thanks, Painshill!!!) I don't have a pic of cow lol, but that stylid is more attached in the cow.

It looks like a cheek tooth from Bos/Bovid, Cow or Bison. Hard to tell which.
