These identical pre-1930 military buttons were found by me this year! Funny thing is they are identical and I found one on a Ranch in New Mexico next to an old cowboy dugout and one on a Ranch in Texas next to an old bunkhouse. Even though the ranches were only sixty miles apart(as the crow flies)! I really think its real darn Lucky that I found them. Now I'm going to make them my official "LUCKY BUTTONS" They seem to be made of copper and they are a shade over 1/2 inch in diameter. These pic's were taken after some serious clean up. I hope you enjoy the pic's as much as I enjoyed telling you about them. I have found quite a few things with my ol' Bounty Hunter, but these are two of my most prized finds. I would love to know how they came to be part of the deserts of Eastern New Mexico and West Texas! Happy hunting to you all! The Kid:icon_thumleft: Military 1.webpMilitary 2.webpMilitary 3.webp

wow, not only cool but cool story and they look great

Kid,

That's odd they BOTH have a split ring. Cool finds dude!!:icon_thumright:

GOD Bless

Chris

That's a really cool find and an even cooler story

Man, I thought the same darn thing. I;m not sure what the split rings are for,but they both had the same darn one. Given, the places where I found them and the exact characteristics of each one makes this little find almost "spooky"! I guess that's why this sport is so rewarding! Thanks for your comments and you have an awesome 2014 and the best hunting of your life! Adios! The Kid

Very cool nice condition ...
