Cranberry Salad
1(3 oz) package black cherry flavored gelatin mix
1 cup boiling water 1/2 cup sugar
1 (12oz) package Fresh Cranberries
1 cup chopped celery 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 (15 oz) can crushed pineapple 1 small Apple
Chop cranberries,celery,Apple, and walnuts lightly
in a food processor. Mix gelatin,water, and sugar.
Combine cranberry mixture and pineapple with juice.
Mix thoroughly. Pour into mold and put in refrigerator to set.
Wonderful for the holidays as a side dish.
 

Good recipe , we've been eating this for years. For a little extra, put a dollop of Hellman's
mayo on top or make a dressing from Philly Cream Cheese mixed with crushed pineapple.
It is tasty. :thumbsup:
 

We add Mandarin Oranges for added color and flavor to a similar mix...

Use the same recipe and don't add the Jello...but serve chilled...Mmmmmmmmmm Gooooooooooood

That is what is so great about these recipes. You can vary the ingredients to your own taste. Your recipe sounds good ,too. I will have to try it next time. Thanks. rockhound
