Last I heard Richard at Backwoods still had 1 left, better snag it now. Join the fun you know you want to... sorry, it's gone you lose.
I just heard that there's going be around a 60 day lull in the production of future Mojave detectors. Something about the second batch of upper rods made by a vendor didn't past muster with Tesoro, so they're going to have to be remade. I'm super glad that I got mine when I did.
There are a few still out there to be had, but after that buyers will have to be put on a waiting list. I know where a few can be had.

If I was looking to get into the hobby or wanted something simple to use. I would certainly pick one up. For the price it seems to perform pretty good. I also like the fact that it only uses a single 9v battery. If my kids were into metal detecting as much as I am, I'd buy three right now. I kind of want one myself since Tabman has been such a great salesmanbut I know I don't need it.
I'm willing to bet that there will never be a Tesoro named Cazador. I have high hopes for a Tesoro detector that's deep, fast and that has an adjustable tone break. Maybe call it the Apache or Renegade. I never did like the name Cazador.Darn... I hope this does not hold up the release of the Cazador next month.
I honestly don't see how you can sleep another night without getting a Mojave. LOL They're practically giving the Mojave away and with one or two good finds, it pays for itself. The fun that you will be having with the Mojave is priceless. LOL

Hmm. Do I really need another Tesoro to add to the stable?
