I did some creek walking over the weekend and found a gun! Looks like it could be real, maybe a pocket pistol (looks simmilar to , but then again I'm no expert and those toys can be pretty convincing. It's got some heft to it though and part of the barrel is broken up and off. Any age range estimates or brand? What do y'all think? If it isn't real or is what gives it away? Trying to learn here.

It is made of steel (evidenced by the rust) and I can see a trigger guard and a slide. Those characteristics point to a real, automatic pistol.
 

Could it be one of those little Berettas with the tip up barrel?Don,t recall the model and this is just a wild guess.
 

In the last image it appears the grips are the same metal as the frame and there is no magazine. And it's obviously not a revolver. That points towards toy pistol.
