Well, I went to the Venecian for dinner last night, and it was awesome.? After dinner the wife and I played the slots.? Spent $50 on the nickel machine and pocketed $240 in 20 minutes.

Went to Hoover dam today.? Biggest piece of concrete I've ever seen.

Hi people. Went to the local dealer in Vegas yesterday. He carried all sorts of detectors, panning and mining supplies. Nice place but a little high priced for my taste. Got a free calender tough. Really helpful info about locations to detect. Was supposed to do the ghost town today but put it off till tomorrow.

Hey Bjorn, I won't be back in town till Sunday night so I guess detecting is out.? Maybe the weekend will be nice.? I got to the ghost town but didn't even take the MXT out of the bag.? There was so much scrap iron all over the place it wasn't possible to take a step without tripping on something.? I was only there for about an hour but took alot of pics and talked to the owner.? Real nice people.? They own the whole she-bang.? 30 miles out in the middle of nowhere.? Well almost.? The ghost town is theirs but a small town a mile or 2 up the road has a couple of hundred residents.? While I was talking to the owner I noticed she was wearing a chain around her neck and sure enough there was a fat old gold nugget swinging in the breeze at the end of it!? I will be going back there for a week to camp out when I can make the arrangements.? They'll let me detect the old mine and a couple of others around it as well.? I can't wait and it's ok with my wife too!? I'll be in touch when I get back.? Oh, yeah, here's the slots update:

Well, we went to Ceasars Palace last night and had a walk through the shops there. All high end, Fendi, Gucci,Prada etc... We were getting ready to leave and I had been breaking even all night on the slots so I said ,"what the hell" I usually play the .25's so I dropped $5 in a dollar slot and bet $3. WHOA BABY! $200 BUCKS! Played the other 2 bucks real quick and cashed in. THE lady sitting at the machine next to me got a little P,O'd and said she dropped like 4 or $500 so far. Tough lady. Yesssss..... Total for the trip.....

I played the $2.00 slot at the local indian casino and won the progressive on my 5th go, however, someone won the progressive on that machine the night before and won $67,000! I only won $300. because the progressive hadn't built back up! man I was POed!
