Crotal Bell... and a ??

Finally got out for a short hunt today, glad fall is here!
Found this 3/4 of a crotal bell, B&L is the maker...any thoughts on age??

Not sure what the second item is...thoughts??

Nice bell too bad it's broken Maybe you will find the rest next time. The other thing looks to be a trivit, used for setting hot pots on a table. ?? Keep hunting that area, it looks to have possibilites.
