Nice intact bell. Probably 150 years old. Congrats

There was a --J. N. GOFF in the bell industry in the early to mid 1800s you could investigate :icon_thumleft:

Nice. I believe most of them were made from bronze or a nickel alloy.

a crotal bell is always a nice little find along the way....however the NG is actually just a NO.. as in No.1
many of those bells went from No.0 for smallest up to No.10 or so for quite large ones
keep digging them!

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Thank you, I will check out maker mark better, with micro scope
definitely looks like a G,,But lets see, as there is no number next to letters or on other half,

its the N i am not sure about as it could be W

WG was known maker where NG hasn't come up anywhere

Beautiful old bell, congrats! :icon_thumleft:
