Found this neat crotel bell at the site of an old farm house just recently torn down to make room for more "town" right across from a Staples. Problem is I know very little about them.

Did I find a unique one? I can't seem to google much of anything about this design or shape. It does appear to be brass, about 1 3/8" in diameter, missing the top loop and no markings anywhere.

Any help appreciated

Above is more stuff I dug mostly in the front yard.
-4 wheat cents,
-one 1902 Indian head cent,
-a brass pocket knife,
-some sort of ID tag with the name "Frank Kielesz---, PVT COK306" the other side has "1678614".
-The big round thing with the indian head says "Lucky Penny 1932". On the reverse is "Souvenir Penny of Syracuse".
-Another is a medal medalion in rough shape, however, below is what it is supposed to look like (sorry its not a better pic). It says "Mechanics and Agricultural Fair Association of Lousiana", and nothing on the back.

This place has been a rather productive site for me so far and barely started in the front yard.

That's killer stuff! Not sure on the crotel but it's cool. Never seen one like it.

I don't know if that is 1 but I think the WW1 dogtags were round. Maybe pvt. Co. K ?

sweet lucky penny man!
