CTX 3030 USB Port Moisture

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with the USB port on the 3030 and moisture? A friend also had the same issue shinnythings1 today. We both had messages saying the USB port is connected. I had to do a full reset twice and got it working again. I came home and found moisture under the cap of the USB. I am very careful with the cap and maintenance of my machine. I have contacted minelab and would like to know if anyone else had the same issue. Thanks in advance.

I put some pipe dope on the threads when I first got it. Never had an issue.

I did once, but found no use for it after that.
