cut coin?

I found this at a field where we've found a bunch of colonial era coins. Any ideas? It's about the size and thickness of a KG.

Hmmm.. would say probably a token - 18thC - mast sails of a sailing ship visible. Something perhaps like this?

Unusual for a bronze or copper coin to be cut. Old silver medieval British penny coins were often cut in half to make 'Halfpennies' and in quarters to make 'Farthings'. The first few I found I thought I had cut them in half with my spade when digging them and spent ages looking for the other half!! :-(
