CZ-20...It's Alive!

Had a prob with the battery pack. It overheated and melted some soldering. A few drops of solder later and....Waaahaaahaaa, it beeps and buzzes again. Will be on the beach (New Smyrna) right after first light tomorrow.
Also ordered the parts for my Dad's old Garrett Sea Hunter XL 500. On one of these forums someone was talking about how nice the Garrett customer service is. I wholeheartedly second that opinion. I was only transferred once and only spoke with live people...no endless menu.
Now, back to the Football game.

I sure could use a new charger for my XL 500. Garrett has them, but the price......
Anyway, good luck with the ole cz at New Smyrna. Wish I was there . HH! chris

I ordered the charger and a battery pack...not inexpensive but worth it to have a back-up.
