Anyone have any good settings for the fisher CZ 3D? I bought it because of all the HIPE
about how deep the machine goes. I have dug some deep blank targets. (Very frustrating)
Any help would be appreciated.
Do not give up on the 3D too quick. If you set all your setting on the default settings (the red ones) and then properly ground balance the machine it should work fine. You should not set your sens. above 5. Try the sensitivity on 3 and if you do not get any falsing you can raise it up a little. I own one and I have found some deep targets with it. It will occasionally hit a deep rusty nail as high tone but not often enough to be a problem for me.
It air tests fine that is the first thing I done before I bought it. How do you ground balance with up and down
motion? Also when you are using the pinpointer to ground balance do you set it at 10 then slowly turn the knob
clockwise or 1 counterclockwise
Have you tried going to some places that you know will have plenty of targets like a school or park? If you set the discrim on 4 it will basically find nickels and coins.
