Well, I went back to the old park, this time I took my dad with me. We worked the back end of the park in the overgrown stuff again. I got two Washingtons, a 1941 and 1943, along with a couple of wheats, 1947 and 1934. BUT, my dad pulled out his first Barber quarter 1906d at about 1 1/2 inches, in the middle of a trail. He just sorta looked up and thanked God and smiled. Not a bad day again. I'll hit it again tomorrow. There is acres of area that hasn't been accessible for the past thirty years. The park has built a small bridge and access road to get back there.
