Got out to a local park for the first time in a while due to the past weekend weather. Wasn't ideal today, but good enough to try for a little bit. I dug for pops today after I broke my shovel, and I ended up a dirty, muddy mess.
Anyways, we got alot of nothing for the majority of our hunt (this seems to be a recurring theme here) but it turned on toward the end. It started out with the mercury 1919s, which my dad told me was silver before I even dug it. He said it was a dollar though
It was the first coin he found the whole day, and the second one came about 20 minutes later when we dug an iffy signal that turned out to be a 1909 wheatie.
Thanks for looking,
