I stopped mowing this morning and watched this deer do some crazy jumping and spinning around, she reminded me of a bucking bronco,I took this shot then started the video for about 15 seconds..danged if I didn't turn the camera

off before stopping the video, lost it.I still have it in my mind, never see anything like it.

Maybe hornet's were after it? Great eagle shot.

Keep those eagle pics coming!

ever heard of yellow flies / deer flies ===pesky buggers

We used to have two yearlings, a buck and a doe, come up to us when we were in the backyard. The doe and my wife would jump around while the buck and I would watch. Sadly, the land behind us was destroyed, I mean developed, and all the wild life disappeared. Now I have cats and stray dogs, an occasional Opossum and Raccoon.

Nice photos as usual Chris. I think the deer just felt a little frisky and had a little burst of energy.

That is what I thought when she did it.

Clear pictures. The way that deer is jumping and bucking it looks like she disturbed a ground hornet nest or a big horse fly is doing some biting.
