Dandy button

I was searching for some colonial cabin sites in the woods this morning. It was very thick, I'll have to properly search the area this fall. My only notable find was this dandy button. Better than only finding square nails !

Yeap, no cross over to the 1800s (1750-80).

That is one nice looking old button. We cant typically find anything earlier than the 1800's in my neck of the woods.
