Dangerous Ice in NY

Roads are hazardous this morning.
The outside swing frame with ice is a reminder to be careful

Be extremely careful if you go outside on foot too. last time we had ice like that here I didn,t heed my own advice and my feet flew out from under me.Hit the old head and knocked myself out cold.

Ice isn't a good thing for us as the years get on.
Hurts going down and longer to recover.

Bill be careful! Last time I drove on an icy road was in the 70's. Went in the ditch backwards and five minutes later, I watched a semi coming at me and he rolled over in the ditch 50' from me. Never tried it again since!

I’ve seen some bad accidents due to inclement weather and it always seem that people want to go faster and pass you placing us in danger

Winter ice is not nice! We got about two feet of snow in three or four days last week. About wore my old (75) body out cleaning out the driveway every day. Finally quit snowing and temps. went up into the 40'sF. About half the snow has melted down now and we keep having temps in the 40'sF and 50'sF. Supposed to get cold in the next few days. We will see!

Watch out for that refreeze,that,s what got me a couple years ago.Knocked myself slap out cold!

Yes this ice blanketed a wide range causing many accidents and somehow the road crews responded too late

Be careful if your shoveling I found putting WD 4 ..on your shovel will keep the snow from sticking and get a curved handle shovel they are the best

Ouch..yes it’s true ..I put about 60 pounds of all purpose sand down and in a lot of places the ice is still here tonight
