spent the morning in the emergency Room bleeding on the floor.

Ran a light going through Pottsville,
all I could think was if a cop pulls me over I'm just gonna stick it out the window

actually plastic Garbage cans are sharp
,
Think I can blame the manufacturer ?
Gonna have nightmares for years that my arm will fall off :laughing7:

seriously though 4 stitches, not bad, but at a bad spot for using my hands to dig
for awhile.
Get them out in 10 days

I'm sure your hand gestures are going to be misinterpreted for a while. Of course a deep cut is no laughing matter. You probably had a few precautionary shots to fend off infection, yes?

You planning on suing Tupperware Co. ?

Everyone I talked to asked when I Last had a Tetanus shot,
Which I assured them I Keep up to date.

had somewhere between 5 & 7 shots to numb it, but nothing else.

I suppose if I was one of the Other 50%, I'd be looking for a Lawyer :tongue3:
If I was Al Bundy, I Could put my arm in a sling & Limp to the Lawyers office. :laughing9:
but Personally I Know when "I" Screwed up :laughing7:
but doubt I Learned
that inside edge is sharp

Any oral antibiotics to take? Just keep some type of antibiotic ointment on it, and make sure it doesn't get infected. Don't want you getting staph infection.

Stopped at wallymart & Got a tube of Triple antibiotic, bottle of Peroxide,
and bandaging material on my way home :icon_thumleft:

bad part it is very hard not to bend it & Very painful when I Do
bumped it a few times to today already *&^%$#@* :laughing7:

Ya Know almost every time I go out hunting I Scratch , Stab, or Slice a finger reaching in the ground,
glass, rusted tin & Sharp stones to dig with my fingers. even the tip of that finger was a bit sore
last time I was out Digging, has a 8th. inch slice or stab wound, that doesn't hurt now :tongue3:

I never go for stitches, but never really cut myself on a moving part that I remember.

Got a Question on a Question I was asked during registration.

I was asked

"is there anyone at your home who you are in fear of your Life From ? "

I Cracked up in her face and said no, But never got out asking "Why" ? she asked.

Are hospitals now looking for reasons to call police for Brownie points ?
Or looking for paranoids for their Loonie Bin ?

Bwahahahaha ... Got the same sort of question in the ER last year. Gal rolls up with a computer stand on wheels and starts the Q&A thing. I was caught off guard when she got to the " ... afraid of someone at home ..." question. If I had not been in so much pain, I would have come up a snarky answer.

Go back to the drugstore and get a single finger splint, not very sightly, but it will keep you from bending it and possibly tearing out the stitches. Cut my finger right over the knuckle at work last year, had to wear the splint for 7 days.

Funny you bring that up, I just thought about that. and I have some popsicle sticks
saved for emergency finger splints

Maybe it's to protect their butts from ambulance chasers.

If your afraid of someone you live with,
they better double up on all witnesses in your room,
and maybe have some thorazine handy :laughing7:

I know how that is i stuck a knife through my hand only cost me 1500 to get 4 stitches...grumble grumble
