Day 2 at the old house

Could only get out for a short time today had to put rotors and brakes on the wife's car. But still got some goodies and will be going back tomorrow. Got a 1920 standing lib 2 buffalo nickels a silver war nickel 4 wheat cents and 3 I don't know yet coins. Also on my way home stopped at Burger King and eye balled this nickel in the draw. She gave it to me. Pretty neat.

Wow ! That modified nickel is the find ! There is indeed a modern "Hobo Nickel " movement as was mentioned earlier , I'm sure that's
what you have . I've always wanted to see somebody post a vintage Hobo nickel (1930's -40's - dug up !)
