After some serious labor, they managed to expose this old piece of hydraulic line. There were test pits blasted out all up and down the creek, and this area did have a little work done below where we were at.

I never took pics where we were digging, unfortunately, but the kids managed to uncover 3 picker nuggets a short ways up a feeder creek. This area was worked extensively in the past.
