I was begining to worry that pennies and junk were all my new Love would find. But just like all new Loves, she proved me wrong. Again from the privacy of my own back yard. 7 wheats '39,'40,2x'44,'46,'52 and a 195?. 6mems, 1 clad quarter and 2 dimes, a poor ww2 guy that busted his gun, a marble and some key all ground down for some reason? 1 1947 canadian penny. Apiece that was once a broach. The newness is wearing off, I'll quit bugging you guys until I find something good. Bongo

Kudos for day 2 :o You're not "bugging" us, we love pics and love hearing what people find...so do not stop. I really like that soldier boy and wondering what happened with the key.

;) RR

Geez, I wish I had YOUR yard to hunt in. ;D

That's more than I get on a lot of my hunts at different sites. A find is a find, regardless of where it is. And you aren't boring us. Keep posting what you find, where you find it.

Mike

I would be proud t have a haul like that! What is the blank looking coin next to the cool soldier? Keep showing us!

Looks like there is greatness in your future in this hobby if the first 2days are anything to go by!

Nice finds!

Have fun,
Salvager

It was a red herring, when it came out I was too scared to rub it , because of size and wieght. After a little soaking I realized it was a copper slug. Dohh, I will find some big coppers, may take a while. Bongo

Nice finds with the wheaties, be patient and get out of your yard!

Keep 'em coming. We're supposed to get 6" of snow tonight so I'm cabin bound even longer. Aaaaargh! I went out and chopped out some trash beside the garden just to get something. Great to see what others find.
