Daytona Beach - hunting in the water?

Is it legal to hunt in the water, off of a boat? I've read (on here specifically) that some people had done that. Can I assume it's legal for me to as well?

As long as there are no crash sites in the area you should be good to go.
Doesn't hurt to check into it with the county first.
If you were in a crash site area waters you could be facing state and federal charges just for being in the water with a detector
