December hot streak continues

Pulled a 15g platinum and a 8.25g platinum and 18k today. Both about 8-12 inches down right at the waters edge. The silver earring was up high and I found it working the slopes as the tide went out.

Not a bad day at all.

Thanks jeepgold. I was hoping for more erosion but there really wasn't anything new. I'm thinking Saturday might be pretty decent. Good luck!

That storm we had for a few days two wks ago made for some good, fast, erosion. My local cuts at one particular beach were 5 ft tall right around the towel line. In a week it began to sand in again. Not to mention the evil sand dozer going around and building barriers for the hotels. It's hard to read a beach when you have dozers goofing it up.

Spearfishing around Newport Beach this morning, looked to be a fair amount of erosion where I was. (I'm not a regular there, so I have no standard to compare the beach to, but it looked pretty well swept after the past few weeks.)

That's the thing, I'm in a few different locations. I didn't hit these rings till I got to the low tide after almost 3 hours of hunting. I only found 2 quarters and maybe 10 dimes. I think this area is hit hard and I was in the right spot with those king tides happening. Not to mention I work very slow and dig everything.

Don't be modest. You Da Man!!!! I hunted for 6 hrs today from high tide to low..... Absolutely exhausted. I dig everything to. I just got no love today. I hunted with the ctx for awhile, then pulled out the Excal...I quickly remembered why I bought the ctx... pennies....I do love to hear whispers/faints/thres breaks though....A handful of change and some this and that junk....My honey hole is officially belly up.
