December Silver.....My Last 17 of 2009

Well.......I have hunted every month of this year (Except February.......Too Cold.....Brrrr)...........And in January........i found 3 silvers...My very first of the year was a 1917s merc..........
Cold weather is miserable to hunt in .....but allot of us don't mind (Unless the ground is frozen...Like in February)
I tried to get out as much as I could this month........GOIO & T-man gave up for the year..So I hunted mostly Solo...........
I did find 17 silver coins this month tho .....I had my best silver year in 2009....with 317 silver.....Suprizingly didn't find 1 seated............So hats off to you guys that did.....Maybe I'll get lucky enough to find one in 2010 ?.......My last silver of 2009 was a 1940 d merc.......

Nice job on the December silver! I didn't get out much in December, but I did grab a couple shinies. I find that it's not the cold that bothers me as much as it is the snow, and resulting mud.

I hope you can do even better in twenty-ten!

Next spring we'll have to bring ya over to where Brett and I dug 2 seated 8' apart. That way you can
get one out of the way early, and concentrate on the Largies and Busts.
