Decorative lid

Found this lid in great shape after hunting an hour on property that once was the site of a Methodist parsonage built in 1889.

I only had an hour to hunt and had just received permission. I dabbled around the property since I didn't have a lot of time. Most areas was modern fill dirt but finally landed on an old area where I got a few pieces of old iron and then this lid signaled beautifully.

Can't wait to get back to that section of yard.

My wife has one similar to that, it is silver plated and used to hold small jewelry. It was her great-grandmothers. Nice find and good luck finding the rest on the contents.
