I decide to try another Brinks 1c box & found only one copper 1c, a 1919s wheat, the same as in my 8/25 post while searching 2 Brinks boxes - WEIRD! I also found a brass 1992 memorial, a clad dime, and a 2003 Canadian 1c.

Brass 1992 Memorial???

It appears to be brass due to a plating error the mint made. See page 199 in STRIKE IT RICH WITH POCKET CHANGE, it gives a rundown on the Brass Plated Cents. A collector has offered $30, but I'm going to have this one checked out by an expert as I don't see any 92's listed as having this plating error.

Always fun to hear about those skunk boxes... lends credence to the fact that Brinks sorts out the copper.

Got pictures of the brass cent?
