Hey guys and gals, been doing a little digging in between back spasms and popping the back spasm happy pills. Buddy deduced a possible trash pit location, and was correct, and kindly called me up.
Dug a few commons and my first decent token in a very long time. I found one local pharmacy, a "Haswell's Allopathic Remedy Co, Denver, Colo" bottle. I know Haswell had drugstores from the late 1880's to the early teens, but show no record of this company. Anyone knowledgeable of Colorado bottles out there?
Thanks in advance,
Carl

Morning Carl, Your bottle is known & is on page 752 (top left hand corner) in the Colorado drug store book, also his history in Colorado ,on page 155,same book. An 1871 ad show's him in Nevada City,Col. Most paneled bottles from Colorado are sought after,I'm not sure on the rarity, but am thinking somewhere in the $20 to $50 range. Congrats !!!! keep diggin !! When ya gonna come down for a day of huntin ??

Carl, this guy got around, first in Colorado (? territory records are either real vague or non-existent) at Nevada City ,1871 , at somepoint moved to Georgetown ,listed there 1875 - 1878 ,Then in leadville 1879-1881.Then in Pueblo 1882-1883. Then Denver in 1885 with no listings after 1915. So it is safe to say your bottle dates 1885 to 1915, because it is paneled ,might date to the earlier side ,late 1890s. Keep on diggin !
