Dug up this odd clump of amalgamate with what looks like pyrite on several sides. I didn't see the crystals until after i put it through the rock tumbler with vinegar/dish soap
detecting find on Vancouver beach... magnetic with golden crystals... pyrite?

Looks like your correct 
the reds are mostly decomposed pyrites and it looks to have some hematite or magnetite mixed in. Pretty mineralized piece.
