Detecting in Cruces/Alamogordo area

New to detecting. Just bought a Fisher F2 and should be here next week. I will only be around until October, but I will like to try and find some good treasure!

I am interested in White Oaks/Jicarilla (I've been there before but never with a metal detector) and the mountains in Alamo/Cruces. Let me know if you want to get together..
