Detecting in French W. Indies

I am travelling to the french west indies next March and wondered if anyone out there knows the rules in that region regarding detecting beaches and surf? Any recommended spots? Will be going to St. Maarten, St. Barts, Anguilla, Saba, Nevis, St. Kitts.

I been on several cruises and have used my detector on beaches in San Juan, St. Martin, St. Thomas, Barbados, Martinique, Montego Bay, Grand Cayman. In Montego Bay I was on a private beach and a security guard ask what I was doing, I told him its a hobby, to metal detect. He told me to cease and I did exactly what he told me to do!

I have no fear to detect public plain jane beaches. 8)
