detecting ski areas

just need your opinion, i want to start detecting ski slopes and under ski lifts, as i live in a CO ski area. what detector would you recommend for rings, earrings, watches,... ~ 400.00$ i thought about the fisher 1236-x2 --> 319$

Get the best white's you can find for the money. Great stuff. I am going to do the same thing here in oregon as soon as the snow melts off. Lots of slopes, sled hills, and parking areas(lose rings pulling off gloves). Good luck and let us know how it goes.
