Detector says silver--i'm not so sure

I was detecting today near the RR tracks I had mentioned in another thread and got a strong coin signal varying between a half dollar and dollar. It was less than an inch down and appeared to be under a rock. Oddly enough, the rock was what I was detecting. It only weighs about as much as a half dollar and seems to have some glass mixed in with it (?). I crushed an aluminum can and turned my discrimination all the way and it still comes up as silver. Low grade? Melted down? Aluminum anyway? Tell me if you can from the photos. Thanks.

Actually that could very well be what this is--makes the most sense.

Its melted canslaw. keep detecting you'll find plenty more of them. They sure give a good steady silver signal every time.
