Hello Everyone
We wanted to announce that there is a "hope-to-be-great" metal detecting web site gearing to launch in January 2007. This site is called DetectorBase.com and will focus on user experiences and how-to articles! Along with great articles, it will have Club News, Club Directory, Events Calendar and a Forum.
We are looking for articles from the community, and we want to hear from you! Sharing your stories and important tips will greatly benefit all metal detecting enthusiasts.
Right now, we've put together a small contest for the best user submitted article. The winner receives a brand new VIBRAPROBE 560 Pinpointing Metal Detector!!!! This contest will stop when we receive 30 submitted articles. There are no limits on how many stories you can enter (just as long as it less than 30), which makes your odds great for winning! Here is a great way to pick up a nice detecting tool... for free. Along with winning your free Vibraprobe, your article will be the Featured Article on the site for one month!

Along with standard coinshooting and relic hunting articles, we're looking for prospecting, beach/surf and how-to articles. If you have images you'd like with your article, please submit the article, than let us know via the Contact Form and we'll work out how to receive the images.
