Hello everyone!

This is my first post and I am brand new to CRH. I started CRH last month and I just opened my first box of $500 in halves this week. I primarily look for silver but I have noticed that some collect proofs and NIFC halves as well. I will post my findings as I open more and more rolls. Here is what I found in this weeks box:

Silver

90% - 62 Franklin
40% - 68 and 65 Kennedy

Proofs

(2) 2009 S
(1) 1980 S

NIFC

(1) 2009 P
(1) 2008 P
(1) 2007 P - might throw this one back
(1) 2006 D
(1) 2006 P
(1) 2004 P
(1) 2003 P

I will be keeping all silver I find and most likely selling the proofs and NIFC coins. Any advise or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Second coin roll hunting update.

Searched $410 worth of half dollar rolls and no silver but did find a few keepers.

2010 P NIFC
2003 D NIFC
1996 S Proof
1985 P "1960-1985" gold plated version. I've read this was some after mint promotion of some sort.
1979 S Proof
1977 S Proof
1976 S Proof
1972 S Proof
1971 S Proof

I have another box coming Tuesday, so the search continues!

That's a lot of proofs. I know they aren't worth as much as silver but I love finding them and save all the ones I come across. They're so nice to look at.

I agree, they look good and the mirror finish really sets the apart from standard half dollar pieces. I may go around a few banks and hunt some teller trays this week, we shall see how it goes.

Hello everyone. I had a monster half dollar box this week. I mean it was epic, it will probably be the best box I will ever get and I've only been coin roll hunting for about two months. Let's take a look at a few pictures.
