My first day ever panning for gold didn't think I would have any luck but I think I might have found some. comment below if you know if its gold or
not. flakes are very small and fine. 16196675_1228377390590147_79445639_o.webp16176547_1228378107256742_578702671_n.webp

Looks like the real thing to me. Nice.

Entirely possible. Wherever you were panning is worth some more effort.

Looks like the real deal to me too. Congrats. Wherever you found that I would set up camp and keep looking.

They look real from where I'm sitting - Welcome to TNet! :hello:

Oh Yeah , that's gold ! I've panned a little in Montana and Colorado - nice stuff !

I would be a little cautious about posting it if you have a hot spot, just trying to protect your site,, Thers gold in them there hills. It reminds me of a great movie. The Treasure of the sierra Madre

thx for the heads up

Also, I've heard that you should not post pics that have GPS info embedded in them. I, personally, have no idea how it works, but supposedly anyone who knows how (and it doesn't sound that difficult) can check to see if the info is there. If so, they can get an exact location where the pic was taken.

They look good, if you go upstream or up the wash and quit finding any, work back until you find some again, then you are close to source, those don't look like they have traveled far from the vein. They are still rough not smooth from traveling too far.About how big can you put a dime or penny with them for comparison. Also your black sand might have some real fine gold in it.
