I was out at the ball fields before the storm hit digging low tones since I have hammered this place good.
After several pull tabs, can slaw and foil I hit on a 51 with the AT Pro.
It was about 4" deep and wiped clean and smooth.
No markings on the ring but it is chunky and stunning. Sort of a banded style with 2 of the bands gold.

I acid tested for 10K, 14K, and 18K and neither trace dissolved.
Could it be gold? White gold with yellow gold bands?

What do you think. I do not want to pre-maturely do the gold dance yet.

Other finds are clad and an old hammer head.
Any way of dating these hammer heads?

could be titanium ? i dunno but still looks like a nice ring to me ... congrats on the hunt !

Looks like a white gold wedding band to me. Nice find.

Congratualtions on the beautiful ring find! :occasion14:

Surprised this nice ring is not marked. First guess is platinum with yellow gold stripes. Second guess is white gold with yellow gold stripes.

It's a beauty none the less.

The ring having no marks is a bit worrying, for such a new looking ring. If it were real gold, or even titanim or platinum or silver, it should be marked. I hope it is white gold or so.ething else cool.

That ring sure is a chunk! Hope you figure out what it is. :occasion14:

Congrats on a nice ring.
My last gold ring that rang up as a 51 on the AT PRO, was an 18kt yellow gold men's ring with an onyx stone.
However, your ring looks like stainless steel. I hope it turns out to be gold.
Congratulations on your finds.

Looks like a nice ring. Not sure on the content.
