I was out at the ball fields before the storm hit digging low tones since I have hammered this place good.
After several pull tabs, can slaw and foil I hit on a 51 with the AT Pro.
It was about 4" deep and wiped clean and smooth.
No markings on the ring but it is chunky and stunning. Sort of a banded style with 2 of the bands gold.




I acid tested for 10K, 14K, and 18K and neither trace dissolved.
Could it be gold? White gold with yellow gold bands?

What do you think. I do not want to pre-maturely do the gold dance yet.
Other finds are clad and an old hammer head.
Any way of dating these hammer heads?
