Didn't know what i found till tonight

Found this a few weeks ago put it in my pouch and then in a ziplock bag . Had our monthly club meeting tonight so I grabbed it and off to the meeting . As we stand around showing each other our finds I asked who knew about buckles and across the room I went . Showed it to two gents sitting down at the table they took interest immediately and said I had a shoe buckle from the late 1700s ! Wow didn't think it was that old but il take it , even won find of the month for a relic . Thanks for looking and HH !! And to top it off beat out Plymouthian12 for the first time!!
